The children affected by cancer suffer immensely, facing isolation, lack of participation, and depression, while their loved ones navigate a two-fronted battle against both cancer and the associated finances. With over 1.6 million new cancer diagnoses in the United States every year, it's difficult to imagine how many children are lost in these statistics. In response to this crisis, the Rally Program is committed to helping as many affected families as possible.
Our team shares the cold, hard facts of the impact of cancer on children's lives, providing patients and their close circles with real insight into what these children are experiencing. By doing so, we hope to improve the lives of countless families fighting for their lives every day.
What does a Rally look like? Learn how you, can, bring support to your program.
Our team promptly responds to requests for support and begins by identifying the greatest needs of the child and their family. We reach out to teachers, coaches, and other family members to gain a comprehensive understanding of the situation. Armed with this knowledge, we assemble a group of individuals who can consistently support the child(ren) in need, and we provide them with educational materials developed by SabesWings.
