The Better Sister
Kelsey Miller opened her first store, Ernest Grace, in Atascadero in 2022. Since then, it has become a beloved local Buy, Sell, Trade shop. When the opportunity came to open a second store in the heart of downtown Paso Robles, Kelsey knew it was the perfect next chapter — and The Better Sister was born.
The Better Sister offers an elevated mix of fashion and lifestyle pieces, featuring sought-after brands like Favorite Daughter, Driftwood, Z Supply, and more. Carlee brings her own creative touch to the store, making the one-of-a-kind pottery and curating the unique gifts and special finds that make The Better Sister feel so personal.
Kelsey discovered SabesWings through her dear friend, Lisa Haley, and immediately connected with its mission. Like so many of us, she has seen the impact cancer can have on friends, families, and the people who love them.
In her words, Kelsey said, “I want to support this cause in any way I can. I’m incredibly thankful to be part of something bigger than a fashion show — supporting families when they need it most.”
For Kelsey, participating in the SabesWings fashion show is about more than fashion. It’s about community, compassion, and coming together to support local families when they need it most.
Kahunas
Kahunas was founded by Debbie Wesch in downtown Paso Robles back in 1993, and her love for the outdoors runs through everything the store does today. For over 30 years, Kahunas has stayed family-owned and operated, hand-curating the best outdoor brands, knowing every purchase has an impact on your life and the world around you. All four stores are online now, but Kahunas still runs on personal connections and an amazing team, even offering next-door hand delivery, trying to change the way this industry works and give people a real reason to shop local.
Kahunas feels very connected to the SabesWings mission and has felt the weight of this cause personally, having lost loved ones to cancer. Today, Garrett carries his mother's legacy forward.
